'Living Legacies: Generations Ahead,' focuses on the significance of preserving artists' legacies for generations to come. Our Panesists came together with Salma Uche-Okeke (CEO of Uche Okeke Legacy) and Tamzin Lovell (CEO of Artfundi) to celebrate and reflect on the living legacies that shape our cultural landscape. Oliver Enwonwu - Visionary artist, curator, art administrator, writer, publisher and cultural advocate Oliver Enwonwu is a leading figure in the contemporary art scene. His captivating works often explore the intersection of tradition and modernity, reflecting the rich tapestry of African culture. As founder and Executive Director at the Ben Enwonwu Foundation who also served as President of the Society of Nigerian Artists from 2009 to 2021, Enwonwu has dedicated his career to promoting artistic expression and fostering a deeper understanding of African art globally. Katharina Fink - A curator and cultural entrepreneur, Katharina Fink serves as a beacon at the intersection of academia and artistic expression. Currently associated with Iwalewahaus, a renowned center for contemporary art located in Bayreuth, Germany, Fink has been instrumental in fostering cross-cultural dialogues. Her expertise lies in curating exhibitions that challenge perceptions and showcase the diverse narratives within the African art landscape. Georgina Thomson - A luminary in the world of performing arts, Georgina Thomson has dedicated her career to the development and promotion of cultural exchange through the stage. With a wealth of experience as the Executive Producer of major international festivals, Thomson has played a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of live performances. Her commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity in the arts has earned her accolades and admiration worldwide.
