DnD Gods: Mielikki

She rides a unicorn through ancient woods, she guards the rangers who wander the wild, and she's the reason Drizzt Do'Urden has a deity at all — this week, Sean and Jess step into the forest and explore the lore of Mielikki, the Forest Queen.

Known as Our Lady of the Forest and the Supreme Ranger, Mielikki is the Neutral Good goddess of autumn, forests, forest creatures, druids, dryads, and rangers. She's warm, loyal, and quick to smile — but don't let that fool you. She's also fiercely protective of the wild places she loves, and she is not afraid to send her faithful into battle when the trees are threatened.

In this episode, Sean and Jess dive into everything Mielikki: her surprising origins in real-world Finnish mythology, her complicated family ties to Silvanus and Eldath, her deep bond with Lurue the Queen of Unicorns, and why rangers across Faerûn pray to Gwaeron Windstrom just to get a message to her.
