Story: Drip's Triumph in the Great Cloud Chase

High above the Earth, in the puffiest part of the sky, the annual Great Cloud Chase was about to begin! It was the biggest event in the sky-world—where clouds of all kinds raced through rainbows, zipped through lightning loops, and dodged flocks of grumpy geese.

Four excited cloud kids lined up at the starting line:

• Fluffy, a giggly cumulus cloud who bounced like a marshmallow.
• Wisp, a super-speedy cirrus cloud who left glitter trails in the air.
• Boomer, a rumbling nimbostratus who loved dramatic entrances.
• And Drip, a shy little stratus cloud who always looked like he might rain… just a little.

“READY... SET... FLOAT!” yelled the announcer, a talking weather balloon wearing aviator goggles.

The clouds blasted off!

Fluffy spun through a cotton-candy wind tunnel. Wisp zipped ahead like a sky-zebra. Boomer made thunder sounds every time he passed a checkpoint—just to show off. And poor Drip… just floated along in the back, drizzling politely on a picnic below. “Sorry!”

The first challenge was the Rainbow Ring Spiral. Wisp tried to show off and zoomed through too fast—SPLOOSH!—straight into a rainbow puddle. Fluffy bounced off the rings like a trampoline. Boomer got stuck when his thunder got tangled in a rainbow loop.

Drip, meanwhile, floated gently… carefully… drip drip drip… and slid perfectly through every ring. “Whoa,” said the judges. “Drip’s got focus!”

Next was the Gusty Wind Gauntlet! Fluffy flew too high and got blown into a flock of confused pigeons. Boomer tried to thunder through—but got blown backwards, yelling “THIS IS NOT DRAMATIC!”

Drip tilted sideways, let the wind carry him, and glided like a weather ninja.

At the final stretch, all the clouds flopped to the finish line, soaked and puffy.

Fluffy was flat. Wisp was dizzy. Boomer was still trying to fix his hair. Drip floated across calmly and softly plopped on the winner’s cloud-couch.

“You win!” cheered the crowd. “Your quiet moves saved the day!”

Drip blushed and rained just a little on the trophy.
