Nl: De lucht straalde helderblauw boven de Keukenhof.
En: The sky shone bright blue above Keukenhof.

Nl: Het was koninginnedag, een feestdag in Nederland.
En: It was Koninginnedag, a holiday in the Netherlands.

Nl: Mirelle liep met Jorrit en Bastiaan tussen de kleurrijke tulpenrijen.
En: Mirelle walked with Jorrit and Bastiaan among the colorful rows of tulips.

Nl: De lucht vulde zich met hun heerlijke geur, terwijl toeristen lachten en foto's maakten.
En: The air was filled with their delightful fragrance as tourists laughed and took photos.

Nl: Mirelle was nerveus.
En: Mirelle was nervous.

En: "I need to find those bulbs," said Mirelle curtly to Jorrit as they walked past a bright orange wall of tulips.

En: She looked around, hopeful she would discover a clue.

En: "What do you think, Jorrit?"

En: "I don't know, but let's ask Bastiaan."

Nl: Hij knikte richting Bastiaan, die bij een andere groep toeristen stond en hen enthousiast iets over de bloemen uitlegde.
En: He nodded towards Bastiaan, who was standing with another group of tourists, enthusiastically explaining something about the flowers.

Nl: Mirelle dacht na.
En: Mirelle thought for a moment.

En: "Okay, I trust you," she said, a bit softer.

En: Together, they walked toward Bastiaan.

En: "Bastiaan," Mirelle began cautiously, "do you know anything about the missing bulbs?

En: This is important to me and the garden."

Nl: Bastiaan glimlachte vriendelijk, maar iets in zijn blik was onzeker.
En: Bastiaan smiled kindly, but there was something uncertain in his gaze.

Nl: "Nee," zei hij langzaam, "maar laten we nog eens goed zoeken."
En: "No," he said slowly, "but let's search again thoroughly."

Nl: Ze gingen naar een schuur in de tuin.
En: They went to a shed in the garden.

En: Bastiaan nodded.

Nl: "Ja, maar het was niet mijn bedoeling om je ongerust te maken."
En: "Yes, but it wasn't my intention to worry you."

Nl: Mirelle begreep het nu.
En: Mirelle understood now.

Nl: Vertrouwen en samenwerking waren belangrijk.
En: Trust and cooperation were important.

Nl: Ze glimlachte naar Jorrit.
En: She smiled at Jorrit.

En: "Thank you for helping me."
