She honestly figured she could just lie about her heritage to bypass the actual hard work everyone else was doing, and she wouldn't stop bragging about her supposed roots whenever a new diversity initiative came up at the office. It was just the most entitled thing I have ever seen, especially since she clearly didn't know the first thing about the culture she was trying to use as a stepping stone for her career.

And then the whole lie came crashing down today because our company actually asked for her tribal enrollment documentation to finalize her new senior role. She went into a full panic and started making up these wild stories about lost paperwork and family secrets, but it felt like a massive win of ProRevenge when I realized the hiring manager was actually an enrolled member of the very tribe she claimed to be from.
