🌻 Reassessing Identity, Independence, & Self-Esteem w/Mercury Retrograde & Venus in Aries Weekly Astrology Forecast for April 1st – 7th

In this weekly podcast, depth psychotherapist and astrologer Shawna McGrath shares the astrology of this week from a psychological perspective.

This week's astrology of April 1st - 7th, we'll experience the beginning of Mercury retrograde in Aries starting on Monday, April 1st. This transit of about 3 weeks involves internal contemplation of our relationship to our identity, independence, and self-esteem. This Mercury retrograde in Aries involves Chrion (healing and self-sacrifice), the North Node (growth and new or unfamiliar experiences), and Venus (relationships, beauty, and also self-esteem). Also this week, Venus will conjunct Neptune in Pisces and then move into Aries on Thursday, April 4th. Venus' journey through the portal of Neptunian experience and then into the territory of Aries symbolizes our journey of relational experience from embodied experience and witnessing (Pisces) to embodied action and passion (Aries). Overall, this week is about reassessing how we feel about our sense of self and contemplating how these themes have been happening since the beginning of eclipse season on March 19th.
