A New Moon highlights the square of Jupiter to Saturn-Neptune which brings into focus questions about identity, vision, ideals, and how practical application is possible in daily life. Mercury also makes several aspects to show a shifting perspective is possible. The astrology this week includes:

Sun square Neptune: Softening the ego and sense of self. Intuition and extrasensory perceptions or synchronicities may speak to you more directly. This aspect often invokes the question, “who am I?”. There can be an opening for perceiving your Self in a more transpersonal way, outside the bounds of material roles or relationships. For some, this may feel like the dissolving of psychic structures (beliefs, ways of being, patterns of behavior, etc.)

Sun conjunct Jupiter: Feelings of growth, expansion, more possibilities opening up, taking on more, and possibly overwhelm. This aspect can indicate a hopeful, optimistic feeling. There can be delight in new potentials becoming available. And also, it can also signal an exaggeration of energies where we feel like things are happening too much, too fast, and/or too much to choose from.

Sun sextile Mars: This subtle aspect indicates a subtle boost of vitality is available. Taking action or being direct may be helpful.

New Moon in Cancer: on Wednesday, June 25th at 3:32am PT at 4 degrees Cancer. New beginnings, planting seeds, initiating something that will continue to grow over the next month, six months, or the next year and beyond. This new beginning is particularly focused on emotional security, emotional safety, and community healing. You may also wish to reflect on how you have transformed since the last New Moon a month ago (May 26th), since the last Full Moon in Cancer 6 months ago (January 2025), or the last New Moon in Cancer a year ago (July 2024).

Mercury square Chiron: Healing experiences involving your thoughts, mind, or communication. Mercury-Chiron symbolizes a challenge around communication, thoughts, self-talk, or internalized perspectives that is ready for healing. This may also signal connection with a mentor, teacher, or revealing your innate healing/mentorship qualities.

Mercury sextile Uranus: This subtle aspect indicates a rapid and unexpected release of energy is possible.

Mercury moves into Leo: Mercury will be in Leo for quite some time from Thursday, June 26th – September 2nd. Because Mercury will eventually retrograde while in Leo from July 18th – August 10th. Mercury’s movement into Leo indicates the beginning of shifting our mental focus to matters of self-expression, generosity, and authentic communication.

Mercury trine Saturn: Increased ability to focus and concretize your thoughts or communication process, or any kind of intense analytical thinking.

Mercury trine Neptune: Increased imagination, creative ideas, and ability to deepen into altered states of consciousness, dreams, or synchronicity.

Mercury opposite Pluto: Intense or depth-oriented thoughts or communication. Mercury-Pluto is known for symbolizing deep conversations, intense research, and sometimes can show a tendency for rumination. Find a place to focus your mind that feels regenerative.

Venus square Pallas: Finding a way to channel your creative inspirations that feels free, spontaneous, and yet strategic. What is in your heart that wants to come forward at this time?
