Fi: Kevät oli saapunut Suomeen.
En: Spring had arrived in Suomi.

Fi: Suomenlinna, tuo historiallinen merilinnoitus Helsingin edustalla, täyttyi iloisista Vapun juhlijoista.
En: Suomenlinna, the historical sea fortress off the coast of Helsinki, was filled with cheerful Vappu celebrants.

Fi: Aurinko paistoi kirkkaasti, ja ympärillä saattoi aistia meren tuoksun.
