Story Transcript:

Sl: Jure je stal na obali Blejskega jezera.
En: Jure stood on the shore of Blejsko Lake.

Sl: Voda je bila mirna, skoraj kot ogledalo.
En: The water was calm, almost like a mirror.

Sl: Poleg njega sta bila Mojca in Tomaž.
En: Beside him were Mojca and Tomaž.

Sl: Prišli so na ta pomladni oddih, da se malce odmaknejo od vsakodnevnih skrbi.
En: They had come on this spring getaway to escape everyday worries a bit.

Sl: A zdaj so imeli novo težavo – izginila je tista dragocena družinska dediščina.
En: But now they had a new problem – the precious family heirloom had disappeared.

Sl: »Kje pa bi lahko bila?« je spraševal Jure, medtem ko je gledal proti cerkvici na otoku.
En: "Where could it be?" asked Jure, while looking toward the church on the island.

Sl: Bil je mlad in radoveden, vedno je želel vedeti več o svoji družini in njenih zakladih.
En: He was young and curious, always wanting to know more about his family and its treasures.

Sl: Mojca, ki je stala ob njem, je bila previdna in natančna.
En: Mojca, who stood next to him, was cautious and precise.

Sl: »Mogoče smo kaj spregledali,« je rekla, ko je s pogledom premerila okolico.
En: "Maybe we missed something," she said, scanning the surroundings with her eyes.

Sl: Tomaž pa, z nasmehom na obrazu, se ni zdel tako zaskrbljen.
En: However, Tomaž, with a smile on his face, didn't seem so worried.

Sl: Rad je pripovedoval zgodbe in pogosto je dodajal pridih skrivnosti.
En: He loved to tell stories and often added a touch of mystery.

Sl: »Poglejmo, kje smo bili sinoči,« je predlagal.
En: "Let's look at where we were last night," he suggested.

Sl: S tal so vzeli stare gumijaste škornje in začeli slediti svojim stopinjam.
En: They took the old rubber boots from the ground and began to follow their tracks.

Sl: Hodili so mimo krčme, skozi gozd, vse do jezera in nazaj.
En: They walked past the tavern, through the forest, all the way to the lake and back.

Sl: Na Mostec so prišli, kjer so pred dnevi veslali po jezeru.
En: They reached Mostec, where they had rowed on the lake a few days ago.

Sl: Tam so našli stari čoln.
En: There they found an old boat.

Sl: »Tukaj je nekaj narobe,« je rekel Jure, ko je opazil rahlo dvignjeno dno čolna.
En: "Something is wrong here," said Jure, noticing a slightly raised bottom of the boat.

Sl: Potegnil je leseno kljuko in razkrilo se je polje skrivnosti.
En: He pulled a wooden latch, and a field of mysteries was revealed.

Sl: Tam je bila. Njegova babičina starinska zlata zapestnica.
En: There it was: his grandmother's antique gold bracelet.

Sl: »Več kot eno skrivališče,« je šaljivo pripomnil Tomaž.
En: "More than one hiding place," joked Tomaž.

Sl: »Kot v kateri od mojih zgodb.«
En: "Just like in one of my stories."

Sl: Jure je pogledal prijatelje.
En: Jure looked at his friends.

Sl: »Hvala vama.
En: "Thank you both.

Sl: Ne bi mogel tega najti brez vas.«
En: I couldn't have found this without you."

Sl: Prvič je spoznal, kako pomembno je zaupati prijateljem in delati skupaj.
En: For the first time, he realized how important it is to trust friends and work together.

Sl: Vsi trije so se strinjali, da morajo dediščino vrniti Juretovi družini in shraniti zgodbo za prihodnje generacije.
En: All three agreed that they must return the heirloom to Jure's family and save the story for future generations.

Sl: Ta pot je krepko utrdila njihovo prijateljstvo.
En: This journey had greatly strengthened their friendship.

Sl: Blejsko jezero je bilo spet mirno.
En: Blejsko Lake was calm again.
