The Drop - Kelsey Doogan

The Drop - Kelsey Doogan

Women in Ireland drop out of Gaelic Games far more often then people realise. In this programme, Kelsey Doogan will explore why that is. She will be talking to former player, Megan McGee, on her reasons why she left and what may have made her stay. We will also hear from a current LGFA coach, Edel Finn, on her perspective on the situation and what she thinks it takes to keep girls in Gaelic Games. Together, these two points of view try and shed some light on the serious topic of women dropping out of sports and how we can fight to keep them there.
