Ro: Pe culmile munților de pe șoseaua Transfăgărășan, două siluete tinere înaintau cu pași hotărâți.
En: On the peaks of the mountains along the Transfăgărășan highway, two young silhouettes advanced with determined steps.

Ro: Andrei și Mihai, prieteni din copilărie, se bucurau de drumul șerpuit și de priveliștile spectaculoase.
En: Andrei and Mihai, childhood friends, enjoyed the winding road and the spectacular views.

Ro: Era primăvară, dar semnul iernii nu dispăruse de tot.
En: It was spring, but the signs of winter hadn't completely vanished.

En: He looked at the car's dashboard clock that was already showing the late afternoon.

Ro: Andrei însă era determinat să continue.
En: Andrei, however, was determined to continue.

Ro: "Vom ajunge până jos, nu te îngrijora.
En: "We'll make it down, don't worry."

Ro: "Fulgii de zăpadă cădeau acum agresiv, durerând privirea.
En: The snowflakes were now falling aggressively, stinging the eyes.

Ro: Mașina se clătina sub vântul năpraznic.
En: The car swayed under the fierce wind.

Ro: Zăpada se așezase dens pe drum, transformându-l într-un pericol alunecos.
En: The snow had settled densely on the road, turning it into a slippery hazard.

Ro: Mihai simțea frigul mușcându-i treptat extremitățile.
En: Mihai felt the cold gradually biting at his extremities.

Ro: "Andrei, trebuie să ne oprim.
En: "Andrei, we have to stop.

Ro: Nu putem continua așa.

Ro: "Realitatea situației devenea clară și pentru Andrei.

Ro: "Acolo!

Ro: " strigă el cu bucurie timidă.

En: So, the decision was made.

Ro: Și-au abandonat mașina, și-au adunat tot curajul și au pornit spre căsuța care părea să fie singurul lor colac de salvare.
En: They abandoned their car, gathered all their courage, and headed towards the little house that seemed to be their only lifeline.

Ro: Cățărați pe un munte de emoții și îngrijorare, cei doi au ajuns la căbănuță.
