#148 - Speak & Share - Where Does the Money Go & Working Full Time in the Foundation

Mason De Wit & Ben Farish are Founders & CEO's of Speak & Share, a not-for-profit organisation who encourages tough conversations to break the stigma of mental health.

If you're based in Victoria, you would have had to be living under a rock not to have heard of the incredible work these lads are doing or seen their iconic sunflower on hoodies or hats passing by.

In the space of a couple of short years, these boys have set up a movement that is sweeping through the town both online and in schools, sporting clubs & workplaces.

The simple message - "A problem shared is a problem halved" is impacting so many and today we get to dive into the guys behind the charity, business and movement and learn all things Speak & Share.

On this podcast not only will you hear why these lads started and the work they actually do (including putting us through an exercise live on the show) but we get right in behind the scenes of actually running a charity, how money is distributed and the business component of a movement as large as theirs.

And in true Dos & D fashion, we have a laugh as the boys discuss some of the biggest mistakes they've made on the journey so far and share stories of times when things didn't quite go to plan.

Sit back and be inspired, be challenged and be entertained by Mason & Ben from Speak & Share.
