#290 - Seb Costello - On the Frontline of the Wildest Stories

Seb Costello is an investigative journalist, reporter & media personality. He was a reporter for Nine News & "A Current Affair" as well as Breakfast Radio on 3AW & Triple M.

Wow! Can this bloke tell a story!

Seb joined us in the hot seat to chat about some of the craziest stories he has covered in his time, hairiest moments he has faced, heartfelt stories he has been a part of and funniest incidents.

Beyond the almost unbelievable stories, Seb shares how he gets a scoop, when to (or not to) report, how to build trust with the major players of the incident and the fine line between building friendships and work-related contacts.

Seb opens up about his time on the Hot Breakfast and some of the lessons Eddie McGuire taught him...and times he copped a verbal whack from him! From the Rio Olympics featuring Luke Darcy, to inside the Cleveland Cavaliers Championship Winning Locker Room, Seb found a way in.

More locally, we hear the hairy moments of his car being attacked by a baseball bat, inside Melbourne's most notorious gangster homes, the Essendon drug saga and all that comes with reporting for A Current Affair.

We talk about Melbourne's current crime problem, why he got in some hot water on Twitter during Covid and how politics, business and sport all align together in our country.

After the show, Seb had a crack at the Golf Clearance Outlet Chipping Competition...head to YouTube to see how he went.

This episode is eye opening, has hilarious stories and some that will make you flinch.

Ladies & Gentlemen, enjoy the one and only, Seb Costello!
