Michelle recounted the initial misdiagnosis that led them to travel from Australia to the UK, the challenges of navigating the UK healthcare system alone while experiencing pain, and the subsequent confirmation of an ectopic pregnancy in their right fallopian tube via transvaginal ultrasound. Ultimately, Michelle Wilson decided on methotrexate treatment, which led to a resolution of hCG levels in three weeks, followed by a discussion of follow-up scans, subsequent anxiety, and the healing experience of conceiving their "rainbow baby," Tommy, only two months after the recommended wait period.
