About the speakers April Johnson Stearns is the founder and editor-in-chief of Wildfire Journal & Writing Community, an independent literary and storytelling platform serving people diagnosed with breast cancer at younger ages. Nikoo Kafi McGoldrick is a metastatic lobular breast cancer (ILC) thriver, advocate, and author dedicated to advancing research, expanding patient education, and supporting individuals living with metastatic breast cancer. Abigail M. Johnston, JD, was living her life, running her business, and tandem breastfeeding her sons when she found a lump in her left breast. After a whirlwind of appointments, tests, and surgeries, as well as a misdiagnosis, Abigail was diagnosed with de novo stage IV metastatic breast cancer (MBC) at the age of 38.
