250 - Dover: Milestone Moment

Brett Griffin, T.J. Majors and Freddie Kraft return from a rain-delayed Dover Motor Speedway weekend and recap all the action. Justin Allgaier’s highly anticipated No. 7 DBC car finally hit the track with a strong performance and runner-up finish. The guys share their thoughts on DBC car content and their positions as sponsors and competitors of the JR Motorsports machine. They also discuss the struggle between race start times and TV ratings after the Dover Cup race rained out.

To start Spot on, Spot Off, the gang discusses Allgaier's performance during Saturday's Xfinity Series race. Hear what was going through their heads and why Freddie might have caused them to lose the race at the end.

Next, NASCAR decided to not give teams an extra set of tires during the Cup Series race after cars were experiencing an excessive amount of wear. Was that the right or wrong call? Who was responsible for the excessive wear? Is added tire strategy good for the sport? The guys debate.

AJ Allmendinger’s loose tire caused a caution during green-flag pit stops late in the race. The spotters discuss why this was the most harrowing Next Gen tire situation yet and why it took long for NASCAR to display the yellow flag. Then, they talk about the severity of the loose tire penalty and how it should be changed.

Ross Chastain’s late block on Martin Truex Jr. on the final lap of the race sparked more conversation about Chastain's aggressive moves. Hear what the guys believe Chastain was thinking when he made the block and what it says about Truex for lifting.

After 11 races, the guys talk about the current playoff and points standings. They decide which drivers are in must-win situations and whether or not there will be 16 winners before the playoffs.

Finally, they talk about this upcoming weekend’s throwback race at Darlington Raceway and NASCAR’s decision to keep the car numbers slid forward.
