Charlotte's Story | Finding Those Missing Pieces of Her Story

Adopted at less than a month old from Pittsburgh, United States, Charlotte Schramm grew up questioning what adoption meant and why she had been placed for adoption.

As she got older, those unanswered questions left her searching for a deeper understanding of her story and identity.Supported by her adoptive parents, Charlotte eventually began the journey of connecting with her birth mother.

Just days after her 19th birthday, she met her for the first time and learned the story behind the decision that shaped her life.In this episode, Charlotte shares her story of growing up adopted, the questions she had about her beginnings, and what it was like meeting her birth mother for the first time.
