In the second installment of creative process as spiritual discipline we talk about somatics and dancing! The podcast gives a brief overview of mystery traditions that relate to ecstatic release and cultures of movement in communities. We then segway to artistic containers and explorations, of authentic movement, allowing dance (and a bit of theater) to alchemize experiences that can be often so hard to verbalize. Maria traces the mechanics of why bodywork, curiosity and awareness is important and translates what an everyday, allied relationship with the body can look like and how to easefully get there. If you've always been interested with dancing, and exploring the creative dimension of the body to further integrate and enable so much potent healing work, than this is the episode for you.
