Sl: Sonce je sijalo nad Ljubljano.
En: The sun shone over Ljubljana.

Sl: Poletni vetrič je nežno pihal med starodavnimi ruševinami Emone.
En: A gentle summer breeze lightly blew among the ancient ruins of Emona.

Sl: Skrivnostne sence so plesale po tleh zaradi bližajočega se mrka.
En: Mysterious shadows danced on the ground due to the approaching eclipse.

Sl: Matej, mladi arheolog, je z nemirno srčno utripal.
En: Matej, a young archaeologist, felt his heart beating restlessly.

Sl: Danes je bil dan, ko bo morda dokazal svojo vrednost.
En: Today was the day he might prove his worth.

Sl: "Nina, pripravljena?" je vprašal Matej, medtem ko je pritisnil starodavno karto na prsni koš.
En: "Nina, are you ready?" Matej asked as he pressed an ancient map to his chest.

Sl: Matej si je oddahnil.
En: Matej sighed in relief.

Sl: "Samo želim ga dokumentirati. Naj svet vidi, kaj smo našli," je rekel.
En: "I just want to document it. Let the world see what we've found," he said.

Sl: Luka je počasi stopil stran od vrat.
En: Luka slowly stepped away from the door.

Sl: Mrk se je bližal koncu, ko so našli nekaj ostankov umetnosti, kovanec in starodavne rokopise.
En: The eclipse was nearing its end when they found some art remains, a coin, and ancient manuscripts.

Sl: Nina in Matej sta se zavezala, da ne bosta jemala ničesar, temveč le delila zgodbo o tem izjemnem odkritju.

Sl: Zunaj so se sence začele umikati, svetloba se je vrnila.
