Episode 53 - Case Files - The Wind and Stone

In this case file episode, Christy and Kathy revisit The Wind and Stone in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma, a historic and antique amusement park and racetrack in the Quartz Mountains that now operates as a campground and event center, and review its layered history including Native ceremonial grounds, a former Army post, and a fatal July 4, 1964 racetrack accident that killed a four-year-old spectator. They outline reported activity—items falling from shelves, people feeling touched, a ghostly girl and a young woman seen on the grounds, voices, shadow figures, and doors opening and closing—while noting a security “orb” video likely caused by an insect on the lens. Across two investigations, they capture a childlike “mama” EVP outdoors, experience an unexplained door closing in the dorm hallway, observe lights switching on upstairs in the A-frame, record possible EVPs (“get/keep back,” “yeah”), hear loud knocks, see cat ball activations, and document an unusual whistling sound during an Estes session. Christy shares psychic impressions of a helpful male tied to the property, a dark-haired young girl linked to a fire, a playful child named Anna in the conference building, and a transient WWII-era military spirit.
