Foundational Thinking for Game-changing Leaders

Foundational Thinking for Game-changing Leaders

As a prelude to season 3 of the Energy Thinks podcast, Anne Carto guest hosts to interview Tisha Schuller about Adamantine’s new series of Foundation essays. Tisha also provides insight on what is coming for the podcast’s third season, beginning September 7th.

Anne and Tisha discuss:

· How the Foundations essays help oil and gas executives rethink our leadership paradigm;

· Adamantine’s framework that considers dueling mindsets and the limits of “education”;

· Tisha’s reasoning for her “Both These Things Are True” mindset;

· The reception and challenges of the three disruptors in oil and gas;

· The impact of millennials in the energy future; and

· Game-changing opportunities for oil and gas leaders to embrace for disruption.

The Adamantine Foundations series lays the scaffolding for game-changing leaders to understand how Adamantine works with our clients and partners to help them pivot from disrupted to disruptor to build the energy future.

Tisha Schuller is the founding principal of Adamantine, where she consults private clients from Fortune 100 energy companies to non-profit environmental organizations in energy policy, business strategy, politics, and community engagement. She also serves as the host of the Energy Thinks podcast. Tisha authors the weekly Both of These Things Are True newsletter and has written two books: Accidentally Adamant (2018) and The Gamechangers Playbook (2020).

Anne Carto is the director of client strategy and sustainability at Adamantine. In her role, she guides clients’ operational sustainability by developing strategies to mitigate the unique risks facing each oil and gas company. By developing and guiding companies’ environmental, social, and governance (ESG), decarbonization, and stakeholder navigation strategies, she supports Adamantine’s proactive and transformational work future-proofing companies against rising social risk.
