Hu: A nap forrósága úgy ölelte körül a Pusztát, mint a kemence tüzének forrósága a friss kenyeret.
En: The heat of the day enveloped the Puszta like the warmth of an oven's fire embraces fresh bread.

Hu: Nincs egy felhő az égen.
En: There wasn't a cloud in the sky.

Hu: A nap tüze perzselte a földet, és az árnyékok hosszúra nyúltak, mintha menedéket keresnének.
En: The sun's fire scorched the earth, and the shadows stretched long, as if searching for refuge.
