Fi: Eero seisoi metsän reunassa.
En: Eero stood at the edge of the forest.

Fi: Aurinko oli jo matalalla, ja metsä tuntui syvemmältä kuin koskaan ennen.
En: The sun was already low, and the forest felt deeper than ever before.

Fi: Juhannusillan taika oli vielä ilmassa, mutta Eero ei tuntenut sitä.
En: The magic of Juhannus evening was still in the air, but Eero didn't feel it.

Fi: Hänen mielessään oli vain huoli.
En: His mind was filled only with worry.

Fi: Sisu oli kadonnut.
En: Sisu had disappeared.

Fi: Viime yönä oli ollut suuri nuotio.
En: Last night, there had been a big bonfire.
