241: Scorching Summer Survival at DLP

This week, the D2DLP virtual studio feels like a giant pizza oven, Beth and Vanessa are officially melting and things are getting even more unhinged than usual.

While Beth barely maintains her sanity in France with the help of "Olaf" (her tiny, pathetic desk fan) and Vanessa tries to remain a functional human in the German heatwave, the duo is diving into the biggest news affecting the resort right now. We're talking about the unprecedented heat-related changes at Disneyland Paris, from halted outdoor attractions to fireworks bans and the very serious debate on whether Disney should offer a little "cool down" compensation for guests.

But don't worry—we're balancing the doom and gloom with some major magic! We are so excited to share an absolutely epic trip report from listener Dallas. Whether it's dodging body-checkers during the fireworks, surviving the "freezer pizza" dining experience, or having a genuinely sweet moment with Phantom Mickey, Dallas's recap is the hero's journey we all needed.

Plus, we're tackling the big questions: What do you do when your Pirates of the Caribbean ride ends with a soggy bottom? And is it possible to actually fall asleep in Phantom Manor? (Spoiler: It's a survival mechanism, trust us.)

Grab a cold drink, find the nearest air-conditioned room (or a dark, cool cave like a sensible penguin), and settle in for our wildest (and hottest) catch-up yet!
