Tessa Chesser on How to Cultivate Mental Strength in Your Running

If you asked me who I think are the most mentally tough ultramarathon athletes, there is no doubt that I’d be including this episode’s guest in that answer. With a Golden Ticket win at Javelina Jundred, a 4th place finish at UTCT PT55, and countless podiums and victories, Tessa Chesser knows what it takes to dig deep and channel her inner strength in an ultra.

Tessa Chesser is a professional ultramarathon runner for Craft, and is based out of Colorado. She is known for her incredible performances on the trail and her bulletproof mindset that has allowed her to push through tons of adversity during her races.

Not only is she tough, but she also has an amazing approach to self-love, self-belief, and fulfillment; and she cultivates all of those things through running and how she takes on life.

In this episode, coming off of her incredible 4th place finish at UTCT PT55, Tessa shares what she does to cultivate mental strength in her life, how she utilized the power of belief to dominate her race in Cape Town, and how she is approaching her big plans going into 2023 (I am still so inspired by listening to her talk about her upcoming goals).

This is such an awesome episode, and a huge thanks out to Tessa for coming on the show!
