GAMECHANGER: Marner Energized VGK, Left Leafs Reeling

Craig Berube said this week that he thought Mitch Marner was the emotional leader of the Toronto Maple Leafs. And he said he felt the Leafs missed his energy this past season. The Leafs failed to make the playoffs and Berube lost his job behind the bench. Berube said Marner brought the energy and emotion to the game. He said he consistently brought emotion and energy to the game - in practice and during games. We saw Marner's energy here in Las Vegas in his initial season. John Tortorella unlocked playoff Marner, as he led all scorers with 29 playoff points. We discussed some of the areas the Golden Knights can improve on this season. It's a copycat league so we discuss what VGK can basically steal from the Hurricanes that was successful in the playoffs. And, Chris Gawlik has some concerns about season ticket prices as the salary cap rises.
