Russia’s most loyal pro-war voices are beginning to say publicly what the Kremlin does not want Russians to hear: the fuel crisis is worsening, businesses are closing, financial reserves are running down—and the real danger may arrive this fall.

In this video, I examine four revealing clips that expose the imperial assumptions still shaping Russian thinking. Z-bloggers describe an economy “plunging into the abyss,” question what happens when reserves run out after September, and complain that Russia is no longer feared or respected.
