Sl: Na vrhu hriba se k Ljubljani naslanja mogočen grad.
En: On top of the hill, a mighty castle leans toward Ljubljana.

Sl: Njegove kamnite stene in skrivnostni hodniki že stoletja čuvajo zgodbe preteklosti.
En: Its stone walls and mysterious corridors have guarded the stories of the past for centuries.

Sl: Po ozkih poteh, ki vijugajo mimo gradu, so hodili dijaki osnovne šole, med njimi Milan in Jasna.
En: Along the narrow paths winding past the castle walked the students of an elementary school, among them Milan and Jasna.

Sl: Bilo je poletje, sonce je sijalo in grad je zapeljivo vabil s svojo hladno notranjostjo.
En: It was summer, the sun was shining, and the castle seductively invited with its cool interior.

Sl: Milan, ki je v srcu nosil ljubezen do zgodovine, je z odprtimi očmi gledal vse okoli sebe.

Sl: "Jasna, si že slišala za skrivni tunel pod gradom?
En: "Jasna, have you heard about the secret tunnel under the castle?"

Sl: "A Milan je bil le preveč radoveden.
En: But Milan was just too curious.

Sl: Glasovi so odmevali po hodnikih, toda nekaj ga je vleklo proti neznanemu.
En: Voices echoed through the corridors, yet something pulled him toward the unknown.

Sl: Šepet, ki ga je samo on slišal, ga je spodbujal.
En: A whisper, which only he could hear, encouraged him.

Sl: "Samo pogledat grem, Jasna.
En: "I'll just take a look, Jasna.

Sl: Ti ostani, če hočeš.
En: You stay if you want."

Sl: "Jasna je stisnila ustnice.
En: Jasna pursed her lips.

Sl: Vedela je, da bo Milan šel ne glede na vse.
En: She knew that Milan would go no matter what.

Sl: "Prav," je vzdihnila.
En: "Alright," she sighed.

Sl: "Pojdem s teboj, da te pazim.
En: "I'll go with you to keep an eye on you."

Sl: "V tistem trenutku sta se iz skupine odtihotapila navzdol po ohlajenem hodniku.
En: At that moment, they quietly slipped away from the group down the chilled corridor.

Sl: Pogumna in previdna, Milan in Jasna sta našla vhod v temno in ozko pot.
En: Brave and cautious, Milan and Jasna found the entrance to the dark and narrow path.

Sl: Milan je držal baterijsko svetilko.
En: Milan held a flashlight.

Sl: Stene tunela so bile gladke, a prastare.
En: The walls of the tunnel were smooth, yet ancient.

Sl: Zrak je dišal po vlažnem kamnu.
En: The air smelled of damp stone.

Sl: "Uau, glej to!
En: "Wow, look at this!"

Sl: " je zašepetal Milan in usmeril svetlobo na nenavaden artefakt.
En: Milan whispered, pointing the light at an unusual artifact.

Sl: "Je to morda del starega zaklada?
En: "Could this be part of an old treasure?"

Sl: "Jasna je vse bolj postajala nemirna.
En: Jasna grew increasingly uneasy.

Sl: "Lepo te prosim, pojdiva nazaj.
En: "Please, let's go back.

Sl: Morda smo že predaleč.
En: We might have gone too far."

Sl: "Milanov obraz je kazal rahlo negotovost, a hkrati tudi ponos.
En: Milan's face showed slight uncertainty but also pride.

Sl: "Prav, gremo nazaj.
En: "Alright, let's go back.

Sl: Saj nočem, da se izgubiva.
En: I don't want us to get lost."

Sl: "A pot nazaj je bila temačna in zapletena.
En: But the way back was dark and complicated.

Sl: Koraki so postali hitrejši, srci sta jima razbijali vedno hitreje.
En: Their steps became faster, their hearts pounded ever quicker.

Sl: Tema v tunelu se je zdela neskončna.
En: The darkness in the tunnel seemed endless.

Sl: Nato je brenčanje glasov zvenelo bližje.
En: Then the buzzing of voices sounded nearer.

Sl: Zdelo se je, kot da sta hodila ure, preden sta končno zagledala svetlobo hodnika gradu.
En: It seemed like they had walked for hours before they finally saw the light of the castle corridor.

Sl: S tihimi koraki sta se znova pridružila skupini tik pred koncem ogleda.
En: With silent steps, they rejoined the group just before the tour ended.

Sl: Noben učitelj niti sošolec ni opazil njune kratke pustolovščine.
En: No teacher or classmate noticed their brief adventure.

Sl: Med potjo nazaj je Milan premišljeval.
En: On the way back, Milan pondered.

Sl: "Jasna, morda je prav, da poslušamo, kaj nam govorijo.
En: "Jasna, maybe it's right to listen to what we're told.

Sl: Ampak to je bila pustolovščina, kajne?
En: But it was an adventure, wasn't it?"

Sl: "Jasna se mu je nasmehnila.
En: Jasna smiled at him.

Sl: "Ja, a v naslednjič raje pridi če ne greva predaleč.
En: "Yes, but next time, let's not go too far."

Sl: "Ko sta zapuščala grad, ju je sončni zahod spremljal, kot da naslavlja novo prijateljstvo, obogateno z novo izkušnjo.
En: As they left the castle, the sunset accompanied them, as if heralding a new friendship enriched with a new experience.

Sl: Milan je odkril, da je biti včasih previden lahko modro, Jasna pa je okusila sladkost avanture.
En: Milan discovered that being cautious can be wise at times, and Jasna tasted the sweetness of adventure.
