Grandpa tired of me being tired.

This week, we’re all over the place but somehow it all connects. I talk about being invited into spaces because people know your name versus genuinely knowing you, the unexpected stress of something as simple as parking, growing up around boys and how that shaped the way I communicate today, and why so many of my interactions have been misunderstood because of it. I also open up about reaching a point where I’m tired of trying to explain myself, defend my intentions, or make everyone understand where I’m coming from. Sometimes growth isn’t about finding better words it’s about accepting that not everyone will get you, and that’s okay.
