From Fast Fashion to the Jungle: What Happens When You Finally Follow Your Heart? — Tuncin Uner (@tuncinuner)

From Fast Fashion to the Jungle: What Happens When You Finally Follow Your Heart? — Tuncin Uner (@tuncinuner)

This week, we sit down with Tuncin Uner, a former fashion designer who dared to follow her heart, leave the 9–5 behind and create a completely different life. Today, she is a ceremonial facilitator, student of plant medicine and was a part of the Colibri team in Corfu.

Tuncin shares her journey from working in the fashion industry in Sweden and realizing that the traditional 9–5 life was no longer aligned with who she was becoming, to moving across the world, finding plant medicine and eventually building a new life in Peru together with her partner.

We talk about her years in Berlin, her journey from partying to sobriety, getting stuck in a small village in Turkey during the pandemic, saving animals during devastating wildfires, living close to nature and the experiences that led her towards a deeper connection with herself and the natural world.

We also explore plant medicine, the importance of choosing safe and experienced facilitators, what a plant dieta is, how to approach these practices with respect, and why integration is just as important as the ceremony itself.

Tuncin shares how she followed the path from fashion to medicine work, why she chose to build a life in Peru and what it really takes to leave behind a life that no longer feels true.

This is an episode about courage, surrender and learning to trust your own inner guidance- even when fear is present and you cannot yet see the whole path ahead.

Listen and let us know what resonates with you.
