When Love Feels Like Losing Yourself

When Love Feels Like Losing Yourself

Today’s episode is a deeply personal one.

I’m sitting down with my friend James to talk about his first marriage, a relationship that looked fine from the outside but felt very different behind closed doors. We get into what it’s like to stay too long, not because things are healthy, but because you’ve been taught that love means sacrifice, loyalty, and pushing through no matter what.

We talk about faith, shame, self-doubt, mixed signals, and the quiet ways a person can lose themselves while trying to hold everything together. James opens up about what he missed at the time, what finally made things clear, and how that short season of his life changed the way he sees trust, relationships, and himself.

This one is for anyone who’s ever questioned their own reality, ignored the signs, or confused staying with strength.

Sometimes walking away isn’t weakness. Sometimes it’s the first honest thing you do.

Thanks for being unladylike with us today. Stick with it, and I’ll see you next Tuesday.
