E29 The Highs & Lows of Transformation w/ Anne & Tony

E29 The Highs & Lows of Transformation w/ Anne & Tony

In this episode, I introduce my new producer partner, Tony Barros-Limon, as we dive into the complexities of personal development—especially our shared experiences with Landmark Worldwide. We reflect on insights from Season One (2024), the role of accountability in transformation, and the highs and lows of reinventing oneself.

From the structure of large group awareness trainings to the challenges of reshaping relationships post-Landmark, we explore what it means to truly evolve beyond these teachings. We also examine the impact of trauma, the limitations of Landmark’s methods, and the need for critical questioning. Are these organizations fostering real growth, or are they high-control environments masking deeper issues?

We challenge the common misconceptions about transformation, emphasizing that true change isn’t just about declaring oneself "transformed"—it requires ongoing reflection, reconciliation, and safe spaces for healing. This conversation we invite our listeners to question their beliefs, engage in deeper discussions, and rethink the way personal development is approached.
