Episode 13 - Grumbling Through Blessings

Episode 13 - Grumbling Through Blessings

In this episode, we have an honest conversation about gratitude, answered prayers, and how quickly we move on to wanting more. How often do we stop to truly thank God for what He’s already done before we start complaining about what we think is missing next?

We reflect on our own lives and realize that many of the things we now stress over are the very things we once prayed desperately for. From family and work to opportunities and everyday blessings, it’s easy to lose sight of God’s faithfulness when we become focused on our next desire instead of our current blessing.

We also compare our relationship with God to the relationship we have with our own children. As parents, we understand how meaningful gratitude is and how difficult it can feel when blessings are ignored in favor of constant demands for more. That perspective challenged us deeply in the way we approach God.

This episode is a reminder to slow down, reflect, and remember the prayers God has already answered. Maybe the life we’re complaining about today is the same life we once begged God for yesterday.
