Patrick Clancy Believes THIS Failed His Children

A father takes the stand for the prosecution — then sues the doctors instead. That's where the Lindsay Clancy murder trial stands after its first week in Plymouth Superior Court, and it's not the story anyone expected walking in.
Patrick Clancy testified that the day before his three children died, Lindsay seemed fine — she built a snowman with them, texted normally, gave no outward sign anything was wrong. Prosecutors are using that testimony to argue she was rational enough to plan what came next. Jurors also heard a seven-minute 911 call, saw pajamas and exercise bands entered as evidence, and learned about a fourteen-second phone call Patrick received after the children were already dead, with no idea anything had happened.
But the defense pulled a different thread on cross-examination. Lindsay had checked into McLean Hospital on New Year's Eve. She'd been to the ER. She'd told providers, repeatedly, about intrusive thoughts involving her own children — and Women and Infants Hospital had already flagged overmedication and a possible misdiagnosis that nobody followed up on.
Now here's the twist: Patrick and Lindsay have both filed separate civil lawsuits against the healthcare providers who treated her. The same man who testified against his wife is, outside the courtroom, blaming the medical system for what happened.
