Sl: Matej je stal na začetku poti, kjer se že dolgo svetijo svetilke.
En: Matej stood at the beginning of the path where the lamps had long been shining.

Sl: V zraku je bil vonj po vlagi in sveži zemlji.
En: The air was scented with moisture and fresh earth.

Sl: Vdihne globoko, pripravljen na še eno skupino turistov, ki se bodo spustili v čudovit svet Škocjanskih jam.
En: He inhaled deeply, ready for another group of tourists who would descend into the marvelous world of the Škocjanske jame.

Sl: Bil je praznik poleti, in obiskovalci so komaj čakali, da odkrijejo skrivnosti pod zemljo.
En: It was a summer holiday, and visitors were eager to uncover the secrets beneath the ground.

Sl: Petra je stala nekoliko ločeno od ostalih.
