Sl: Mateja je sedela na robu pomola pri Blejskem jezeru.
En: Mateja was sitting on the edge of the pier at Blejsko jezero.

Sl: Njeno srce je bilo na preizkušnji.
En: Her heart was being tested.

Sl: Izza hribov so se bližali temni oblaki, medtem ko se je v daljavi že slišalo grmenje.
En: Dark clouds were approaching from behind the hills, and thunder could already be heard in the distance.

Sl: Poletni nevihtni vetrovi so dvigali valove na sicer mirni površini jezera.
En: The summer storm winds were raising waves on the otherwise calm surface of the lake.
