Ro: Într-o dimineață însorită de vară, când cerul părea pictat într-un albastru nesfârșit, Ionuț și prietenul său bun, Mihai, alergau pe străzile cartierului lor liniștit.
En: On a sunny summer morning, when the sky seemed painted in endless blue, Ionuț and his good friend, Mihai, were running through the streets of their quiet neighborhood.

Ro: Ferestrele caselor erau deschise, iar grădinile erau pline de flori colorate.
En: The windows of the houses were open, and the gardens were full of colorful flowers.

Ro: Aerul mirosea a frunze proaspăt tăiate și a grătare încins pe ici, pe colo.

Ro: Ionuț era faimos pentru farsele sale.

En: Please, let us have some fun!"

Ro: ” o rugă Ionuț, cu o voce rugătoare.
En: Ionuț pleaded, his voice begging.

Ro: Anca privi în jur și văzu ochii copiilor sclipind de entuziasm.
En: Anca looked around and saw the children’s eyes sparkling with excitement.

Ro: În ciuda dorinței ei de a menține ordinea, inima i se înmuie.
En: Despite her desire to maintain order, her heart softened.
