Gate 59 - What Are You Still Holding Back?

In this episode of The Gates in Real Life, we explore Gate 59 in Human Design and the Gene Keys moving from the shadow of Dishonesty, to the gift of Intimacy, to the Siddhi of Transparency.

And yes., we start with the infamous Coldplay kiss-cam scandal. Because for an episode about sexuality, secrecy, and what happens when something hidden gets projected onto a giant screen, it felt pretty fitting.

But Gate 59 is about much more than sex.

We explore what dishonesty can look like when it isn't actually lying, but holding back parts of ourselves because we're afraid of being fully seen. And we look at how that shows up in business through curated personas, performative marketing, vulnerability with clients, and the pressure to present the version of ourselves we think people want.

We also talk about the relationship between intimacy and creativity, why authentic connection can feel surprisingly destabilizing, and how deeper trust creates space for true collaboration and co-creation.

Ultimately, Gate 59 asks us to notice the walls we've built between ourselves and other people, and what might become possible if we allowed some of them to come down.
