El: Η Ακρόπολη έλαμπε στο φως του αττικού ήλιου, ενώ η ομάδα του λυκείου προχωρούσε προς τον Παρθενώνα.
En: The Acropolis shone in the light of the Attic sun as the high school group moved towards the Parthenon.

El: Οι μαθητές γεμάτοι ενθουσιασμό και θόρυβο, ακολουθούσαν τον καθηγητή τους, καθώς εξηγούσε την ιστορία της αρχαίας Αθήνας.
En: The students, full of excitement and noise, followed their teacher as he explained the history of ancient Athens.

El: Ο Δημήτριος ήταν ανάμεσα σε αυτά τα παιδιά, με τα μάτια συνεχώς στραμμένα στην Ελένη.
En: Dimitrios was among these children, his eyes constantly focused on Eleni.

El: Την θαύμαζε εδώ και καιρό, αλλά πάντα ένιωθε να χάνει τη φωνή του όταν ήθελε να της μιλήσει.
En: He had admired her for a long time but always felt at a loss for words whenever he wanted to talk to her.

El: Ο Νίκος, ο καλός του φίλος, ήταν πάντα εκεί, να αστειεύεται και να τον διακόπτει.
En: Nikos, his good friend, was always there, joking and interrupting.

El: Αγαπούσε τους φίλους του, αλλά ήξερε ότι έπρεπε να βρει το θάρρος να μιλήσει στην Ελένη.
En: He loved his friends but knew he had to find the courage to talk to Eleni.

El: Καθώς η ομάδα ανέβαινε τα ψηλά σκαλοπάτια, ο Δημήτριος αποφάσισε να ψάξει μία ήσυχη στιγμή για να εκφράσει τα συναισθήματά του.
En: As the group climbed the tall steps, Dimitrios decided to seek out a quiet moment to express his feelings.

El: Οι φωνές των συμμαθητών του απλώνονταν στον αέρα της Ακρόπολης, και το φυσικό τοπίο ενίσχυε την αίσθηση της αιωνιότητας που έβγαινε από τα μάρμαρα.
En: The voices of his classmates spread across the air of the Acropolis, and the natural landscape enhanced the sense of eternity emerging from the marble.

En: When they reached the Parthenon, the view was breathtaking.

El: Ο Νίκος πειραζόταν με τους υπόλοιπους, γελώντας δυνατά, αλλά ο Δημήτριος σκέφτηκε ότι τώρα ήταν η ώρα του.
En: Nikos was joking around with the others, laughing loudly, but Dimitrios thought that now was his time.

El: Βλέποντας την Ελένη να κοιτάζει με θαυμασμό την Αθήνα, την πλησίασε.
En: Seeing Eleni looking at Athens with admiration, he approached her.

El: “Ελένη,” είπε, προσπαθώντας να φανεί ήρεμος, “σου αρέσει η ιστορία, έτσι;
En: "Eleni," he said, trying to appear calm, "you like history, right?"

El: ”Το βλέμμα της Ελένης φωτίστηκε.
En: Eleni's gaze lit up.

El: “Ναι, είναι μαγευτική!
En: "Yes, it's enchanting!

El: Εδώ νιώθω σαν να περπατώ ανάμεσα στους αρχαίους Έλληνες.
En: Here I feel like I'm walking among the ancient Greeks."

El: ”Ο Δημήτριος χαμογέλασε, τώρα πιο άνετος.
En: Dimitrios smiled, now more at ease.

El: “Και εγώ νιώθω το ίδιο.
En: "I feel the same way.

El: Είναι υπέροχο που κάνουμε αυτή την εκδρομή κοντά στο τέλος των διακοπών.
En: It's wonderful that we're taking this trip near the end of the holidays."

El: ”Η Ελένη γύρισε και τον κοίταξε στα μάτια.
En: Eleni turned and looked him in the eyes.

El: “Χαίρομαι που έχουμε αυτή την ευκαιρία να μιλήσουμε.
En: "I'm glad we have this opportunity to talk.

El: Συνήθως δεν σε ακούω πολύ με τον Νίκο να αστειεύεται συνεχώς.
En: I don't usually hear you much with Nikos joking around all the time."

El: ”Ο Δημήτριος γέλασε, συνειδητοποιώντας ότι η στιγμή ήταν δική τους.
En: Dimitrios laughed, realizing that the moment was theirs.

El: Τα λόγια του κυλούσαν τώρα ελεύθερα, και μίλησε για την αγάπη του για την ιστορία και την αρχιτεκτονική.
En: His words now flowed freely, and he spoke about his love for history and architecture.

En: Looking at the city from the top of the Acropolis, Dimitrios felt filled with confidence.

El: Είχε επιτέλους μιλήσει στην Ελένη.
En: He had finally spoken to Eleni.

El: Και εκείνη τον άκουγε με ενδιαφέρον.
En: And she listened to him with interest.

El: Μια νέα φιλία μόλις ξεκινούσε, κάτω από τον ίδιο ήλιο που έβλεπε η Αθήνα εδώ και αιώνες.
