"You didn’t win the Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes"

Fraudsters are calling people and telling them they won the Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes. After getting a potential victim excited about winning millions of dollars, the scammer claims the prize cannot be released until the “winner” pays taxes or processing fees. This scam works because criminals exploit the well-recognized name and pretend to be from the real PCH.
