Interview with author D.E. Spikes

Here is here bio: I am Dominique Nesbitt, aka my pen name, D.E. Spikes. I am a writer, spoken word poet, yogi, dancer, wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, eternal soul, and self-revolutionary. Every moment is pure magic to me. I believe that at the crossroads between self-compassion and self-actualization, we find self revolution--which then reaches beyond the self, expanding to revolutionize the world.

I am currently deepening my spiritual practice through registered yoga teacher training, working on my second full-length book of poetry as well as a poetic affirmations album, and a podcast. It sounds like a lot, but I love to be doing different things. I like to have options, I like being able to pivot between passions. The podcast will be launching sometime in September (date TBD) and the book will be released on December 3rd. My spoken word album of poetic affirmations will be released in February of 2022.
