Disney to Sign Darth Vader Series with Hayden Christensen

I've been seeing chatter about this online, if it's true, here's my thoughts on the situation. Nothing here is confirmed. Lucasfilm, Disney, and Christensen have all stayed silent, and none of the major outlets have backed the claim yet. So this is a rumor, and I'm covering it as a rumor. But it's worth talking through, because of what it would mean if it turns out to be real. The gap between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope is the most requested era in Star Wars. Vader hunting the surviving Jedi. His early years under Palpatine. The castle on Mustafar. Twenty years of stories that live action has barely touched and the tumultuous battle between Anakin and Vader are all stories to tell. And Christensen isn't the guy who shows up for a nostalgia cameo anymore like they've been throwing him into.
