Get Seasonal - Episode 6

Get Seasonal - Episode 6

In this episode, we explore regenerative farming, and sustainable food practices with our guests James Smith from Loddington Farm, and Will Devlin, award winning chef, farmer and founder of the Arce Group. Colin Wheeler-James interviews James Smith about regenerative farming principles and practices. The impact of climate change on agriculture and fruit production. Reducing chemical inputs and promoting soil health and the role of pollinators in sustainable farming.

Ian Nottage talks to chef and farmer Will Devlin about his many businesses, his approach to seasonal farming, and how chefs can better connect with local producers to enhance their menus. They also chat about seasonality, and the importance of respecting the land.

Colin Wheeler-James shares his latest foraging tips and Ian has a run down of what is in season at the moment plus news on how you can get involved with British Food Fortnight taking place from 26th September to 11th October.

Please note - when out foraging always be sure you know exactly what you have picked and seek advice from an expert.
