Anonymous: What are your thoughts on using Kambo (amazonian frog secretions) for helping heal, detox, and strengthen the body, mind, and spirit?

Darrel: Hey Dr. Cabral. Hope all is well with you, your family and those attached to Equilibrium. My question has to do with the recent pushback to those saying MSG is unhealthy. Seeing a lot of people saying that's not the case and it's gotten a bad rap due to racism, xenophobia etc. I'm still going to avoid it but it's an uphill task given my family and friends cook with it and when I attempt to convince them they cite articles like below or so-called experts like popular doctors appearing on cable network news refuting said ill effects. Is MSG really really as bad and no good for our bodies or are we overstating it's side effects? Anyway do keep up great work.

Cabral :)Thank you for your previous replies, but now I have some follow up questions :)I was asking about XXXXX supplements and if you could please review their products and you said no.. but right now I'm listening to podcast no. 1569 where someone asked about some mouth products and you said you would put them on your list to look at and also that you're making a recommendation list.. how do you decide which ones to look at and which ones not? The problem is that I'm from Europe and we don't get all the products you guys get there or if we could, the shipping is just so expensive.. that's why I was asking about Viridian, they're based in UK & also we get their products in my country.. and I think they're high quality but would really love to hear your opinion on their products because I highly appreciate you and your knowledge on these things.. thank you for your reply either way and for all you do, you're helping us so much! Lily: Dear doctor Cabral, As you are my favorite doctor to listen to, I wanted to ask you for a second opinion. My naturopathic doctor recently did a very extensive stool test. We did it because I've been having pretty bad bloating and gas issues after eating pretty much any meal - for years.The results came back negative for the main suspects: yeast overgrowth, h-pylori, leaky gut, and so on. She did find very high values for blastocystis and dientamoeba fragilis species. And also very low values for the main resident flora colonies.Do you think that my gut issues and low numbers of good bacteria are connected to those two parasites or should I do more research, like food insensitivity?And which products from your Equilibrium line would you recommend to treat those two issues?Thanks so much in advance!

Karim: Hi. My daughter is 19 and she has her period with the help of hormone replacement therapy (both estrogen and progesterone).She didn't start her puberty I was worried so wen she turned 15 I took her to doctors. They referred her to specialists so they put her on these pills which I'm not keen on long-term. She was also born with only 1 ovary.Do you think there is hope for her to come off hormonal therapy and get her period naturally? I don't know what else to do...Also, if she does the complete hormonal test, would she have to come off hormonal therapy in order to get accurate results?
