Jason Keller became a criminal defense attorney in Arizona, developed addictions to drugs and alcohol that compromised every professional boundary available, took on clients who were members of the New Mexican Mafia, and eventually crossed the single most alarming line available for an officer of the court — smuggling drugs and cell phones into prison for the same clients he was supposed to be defending — before getting caught and receiving a sentence of over six years inside the Arizona state prison system he had spent his career navigating from the other side of the courtroom.
