Bigfoot and the Lost Hours

Fred from the SubArctic Alaska Sasquatch YouTube Channel is back with one of the strangest and most unsettling wilderness stories he has shared yet. Curtis, James, and their friend Mike had spent years saving for the chance to fly into a remote stretch of Alaska near the Kuskokwim River.

What was supposed to be the trip of a lifetime quickly turned into something none of them could explain. Soon after arriving, Curtis heard Mike and James talking outside the tent, only to discover neither man was there.

From that point forward, the trip became increasingly bizarre. The three men experienced an unexplained lapse in time, confusion over what they had been doing, boots that seemed to have been switched, Mike’s boots disappearing entirely, and rifles turning up in places where no one remembered leaving them.

Then came the sounds. Powerful screams carried through the wilderness. Strange whistles circled the camp. Something repeatedly swiped at the tent with what sounded like a large hand. In the darkness, the men spotted distant eye shine that appeared green before shifting to red.

Gear continued to disappear, including their camp stove, while Mike began waking up away from the others on a nearby game trail with no memory of how he had gotten there.

The group eventually moved camp, but whatever had been following them seemed to move with them. Mike’s missing boots were suddenly thrown back into camp, and later a large, dark, hairy figure briefly grabbed the tent and pulled at it before disappearing into the darkness.

By the time their pilot returned, Curtis, James, and Mike were desperate to leave. But the story did not end when the plane arrived. The pilot also spotted a large dark figure near the camp and made an even more disturbing admission: this was not the first time people flying into that area had reported seeing something unusual.

Missing time. Stolen gear. Mimicked voices. Strange lights in the darkness. And something large moving just beyond the edge of camp.

This is a remote Alaska trip that went wrong in ways none of them were prepared for.
