Cy: Yn nyfnder y ddaear, cuddai'r bunkeri ymchwil o dan y pridd.
En: In the depths of the earth, the research bunkers lay hidden beneath the soil.

Cy: Roedd yr awyrgylch yn dawel fel arfer gyda sŵn distaw'r peiriannau.
En: The atmosphere was usually quiet with the faint hum of machines.

Cy: Ond heddiw, yng nghanol Gwanwyn, wrth i'r byd uchod ddeffro gyda gŵyl Beltane, daeth y tŵr tywyll yn dawelach pan fiodd y pŵer yn mynd allan yn sydyn.
En: But today, in the middle of spring, as the world above awakened with the festival of Beltane, the dark tower grew quieter as the power suddenly went out.

Cy: Roedd Rhys, gweithiwr peirianneg y bunkeri, yn cnoi ei wefus.
En: Rhys, the engineering worker at the bunkers, bit his lip.

En: This research was necessary in order to present their new and important findings.

Cy: "Bydd yn rhaid i ni drwsio'r system pŵer yn llaw," atebodd Rhys, gan wybod y risgiau.
En: "We'll have to fix the power system manually," replied Rhys, aware of the risks.

Cy: Roedd Gareth, y technegydd tawel a chyfrifol, yng nghefn y ystafell, hefyd yn awyddus i helpu.
En: Gareth, the quiet and responsible technician, was at the back of the room, eager to help as well.
