Financial Friday: What Capitalism Built

Financial Friday: What Capitalism Built

FF: What Capitalism Built

Capitalists want to see how good of an outcome a person can create. Socialists want to guarantee equal outcomes. We talk about socialist and communist countries and what their outcomes were. This includes a comparison of East vs. West Berlin, Miami vs Cuba, Ohio vs Haiti, etc. We also talk about what the perspective of visitors have said after visiting the U.S. If you really want to know what it is like in a communist or socialist country, you should live in one for a while. Then, you can understand what life is like there. We talk about a Greek immigrant who started a large grocery store chain in New York City and the difficulties of that industry. We also talk about the announcement of government grocery stores planned for that city. We also cover ID's, age limits, rags-to-riches stories, and more. While some people talk about the "warmth of socialism", look at what has already occurred in history. Where has the most progress and prosperity occurred? Were people fleeing capitalism and running to communism or the other way around? What kind of life do you want for your family? Join us as we talk about all of this and more!
