Brian Posehn – The Big Bang of Bert Kibbler

Brian Posehn got a surprise call from Chuck Lorre that turned his Big Bang Theory character, Bert Kibbler, into one of the leads of the new spinoff, Stuart Fails to Save the Universe! He talks about finally getting top billing after decades in Hollywood, working with Bob Odenkirk and David Cross on Mr. Show, and his early sitcom run on Friends, Seinfeld, NewsRadio and Just Shoot Me! Brian shares the nightmares he had before shooting Friends, the encouragement he got directly from Jerry Seinfeld after multiple auditions, and the terrifying accident that left him paralyzed for 10 days and forced him to learn how to walk again. He also reveals what it was like secretly filming The Mandalorian, why he may be partly responsible for decades of Nickelback hate, and why stand-up is still his first love nearly 40 years later.
