Story Transcript:

Sl: Matej je stopil v prostorno dnevno sobo, kjer je Nina že sedela na kavču in pila popoldanski čaj.
En: Matej entered the spacious living room, where Nina was already sitting on the couch, enjoying her afternoon tea.

Sl: Dnevna soba je bila srce njihove velike družinske hiše, polne topline in spominov.
En: The living room was the heart of their large family house, full of warmth and memories.

Sl: Na stenah so bile fotografije iz različnih časovnih obdobij, vsaka s svojo zgodbo.
En: On the walls were photographs from different time periods, each with its own story.

Sl: "Kako lep dan za dodajanje nove slike, a ne?" je z nasmehom rekel Matej, ko je držal okvir v rokah.
En: "What a beautiful day to add a new picture, isn't it?" Matej said with a smile, holding a frame in his hands.

Sl: Celo poletje je trdo delal, da bi hiša postala še prijetnejša.

Sl: Matej je zavihal rokave in hitro potegnil meter iz žepa.
En: Matej rolled up his sleeves and quickly pulled a tape measure from his pocket.

Sl: "Dobro, začnimo meriti. Malo levo, malo desno. Mora biti popolno!"
En: "Alright, let's start measuring. A little to the left, a little to the right. It has to be perfect!"

Sl: Nina je zavzdihnila in se rahlo nasmehnila.
En: Nina sighed and gave a slight smile.

Sl: "Jaz bi sliko dala kar tu," je pokazala na steno, kjer bi bilo delo minimalno.
En: "I'd just put the picture here," she pointed to the wall where the work would be minimal.

Sl: Mateju se je sicer zdela preprosta rešitev, a vztrajal je pri svojem načinu - tako da je še naprej premerjal prostor, postavljal nivo in izračunaval kot.
En: To Matej, it seemed like a simple solution, but he insisted on his way—so he continued to measure the space, set the level, and calculate the angle.

Sl: Nina je skomignila z rameni in pobarala: "Prav, ampak pazi na tisto vazo."
En: Nina shrugged and remarked, "Okay, but watch out for that vase."

Sl: V trenutku nepozornosti je Matej nerodno stopil nazaj in s komolcem podrl vazo, ki je stala na bližnji polici.

Sl: Tako sta še enkrat skupaj obesila portret, tokrat z več razumevanja in humorja.
